Carbon-based energy sources such as wood and oil also originate from nuclear energy in sunlight. In the future, we must transition from carbon-based nuclear energy, the main culprit of greenhouse gases, to carbon-free nuclear energy that protects the Earth. We need to expand the use of carbon-free nuclear energy from natural sources, such as renewable energy.
